The X-Patriots are assigned to check up on a Shi'ar science team on Meslon 3. The team hadn't reported in for two days, and had previously mentioned finding something akin to a fountain of youth on the planet.

Upon landing, the X-Patriots searched the camp, with Nico using her knowledge of Shi'ar language to pull up some relevant reports, indicating a nearby cave as the place that the fountain of youth was found. Golem explored the cave, and discovered a barrier he could not penetrate. When the X-Patriots arrived, they were turned into five year old versions of themselves, then allowed to pass. They each had a relevant flaw:

Prime: Incredibly bossy (more than usual)
Chi: Incredibly hyperactive (more than usual)
Rapt: Incredibly negative (more than usual)
Madrock: Prone to long rambling stories for no reason (more than usual)
Osmosis Lass: High levels of selfishness and jealousy

They encountered a room with five Shi'ar kids playing with toys, but couldn't get in. A robot came out to talk to them, and asked them to stop playing banned games such as army or superhero. It gave Nico a time out for pushing Roxanne, which caused Nico to be pulled against the wall by an unseen force.

Eventually, the room was too tempting for Roxanne and Nadia, who went in, forgetting who they were previously. The robot, meanwhile, revealed that there were hundreds of beings in the playground area, in several other rooms off the hall, and all of them eventually agreed to stop playing banned games. Mike eventually threw an enormous temper tantrum (complete with peeing on the robot) that caused it to overload the banned games index, after which everyone realized who they were, and Rapt told the robot it was time to go home. At this point, the robot aged everyone to their correct age, resulting in the deaths of many of the other creatures in side rooms, but the science team and X-Patriots left fine.

Also, while under the thrall of the room, Nadia played the best game ever: Manta's date with Galactus.
