Dinner at Nate's
Post by Sir Nathaniel/Fang on Jul 26, 2007, 11:19pm

He set it up as best he could considering the short time span he had to think about it. Something was still nagging at the back of his mind. Something he wanted to both remember, and not remember. Though at this point he was certain whatever was bugging him was not Izabella's change of heart. It was his, but what could he possibly be forgetting, that part of him wants to forget?

The table had been set with embrodered cloth. Candles were carefully laid out. The dinner he had caught, and prepared was still cooking, but should be done soon. The smell of fried fish filled the room, and some side dishes he had borrowed from the cafeteria. To drink he had his wine already poured in wine glasses with water in a second glass near it. The proper silverware was in its place beside the plates. He put on a fresh maroon tunic with a gold border.

He put on Scarborough Fair on the music device Maxwell had setup in the living room, and waited quietly.

Uh, I hate this song. Is this a date or a funeral?

I enter in Nathaniel's Room with a sigh, and I'm immediately surprised by the setting - I'll give Nate credit, the man knows how to treat a lady. A rather intoxicating fragrance from the kitchen, pleasing aesthetics for the eye and, while I'm not a fan of the song, I have to admit it does match the mood.

It makes me glad I took some steps of my own - I'm wearing the best, sexiest dress I could find in the closet; a long, black satin dress, with a lovely slit running down the skirt, exposing the legs. Should get his imagination running. Perfect.

"Very nice." I enter slowly, making sure he sees me in full before I take a seat. "You really have a sense of atmosphere. I'm impressed."

Post by Sir Nathaniel/Fang on Jul 26, 2007, 11:38pm

"Huh…Sorry, my mind was wandering. You caught me by surprise."

Still stunned by the sight before him, and almost forgets something else as the bell goes off. Sending him to the kitchen to fetch the fish. 'I will think of words to properly access you shortly. Right now my tongue is severly tied." He says bringing a plater of fish, and setting it on the table between them.

"I am honored that you like it. If the music is too old fashion for your taste I am sure Maxwell has something more modern as well."

[For the record, I love Scarborough Fair.]

"No, no - it's all right, quite all right." Beneath the table, I kick off my shoes as the table is set. Might as well make my feet handy for future use. "It fits the mood. Might I ask what's on your mind?"

Re: Dinner at Nate's
Post by Sir Nathaniel/Fang on Jul 26, 2007, 11:47pm

"Part of it was curious about the sudden change of heart, and part of it thinking about something I do not want to grasp that would make me feel bad about this. It all went out the window the moment you arrived, and replaced it with thoughts of how to please you." He took a seat across from her.

Re: Dinner at Nate's
Post by Marisol Morales on Jul 26, 2007, 11:50pm

"Well, let's focus on the latter - it's much more gracious." I smile, leaning back in my chair as I begin to pick apart the fish. "You needn't worry about pleasing me, really - you've already done that immensely. Aside from the pleasure of our 'encounter', it'll be nice to have a true partner from now on. An equal. Wouldn't you agree?"

Re: Dinner at Nate's
Post by Sir Nathaniel/Fang on Jul 26, 2007, 11:55pm

"Indeed. I have had trouble keeping it off my mind. So much so that Lady Sara bested me during our training session earlier.

Though I will still worry about pleasing you. Every day is another challenge to make you smile."

Re: Dinner at Nate's
Post by Marisol Morales on Jul 27, 2007, 12:02am

"Sara got the better of you?" I can't hide a slight giggle. "I must've had more an effect than I imagined."

I shift in my seat, crossing my legs and taking another bite. "Is it really that difficult to please me, though? I'm a simple woman. I have needs, intellectually and physically. You can provide both easily."

Re: Dinner at Nate's
Post by Sir Nathaniel/Fang on Jul 27, 2007, 12:06am

"I suspose I can. Not saying you are a difficult woman to please, but as the saying goes the same tricks do not always work. Though I guess we all have our soft spots."

Re: Dinner at Nate's
Post by Marisol Morales on Jul 27, 2007, 12:17am

"Indeed we do." To illustrate the point, I decide to attack one of his - I lift my leg up and brush it against his under the table, letting him enjoy the contact for a moment, before I move a little higher…and higher…ah. There.

"Tell me, Nathaniel - where's the chink in your armor?"

Re: Dinner at Nate's
Post by Sir Nathaniel/Fang on Jul 27, 2007, 12:20am

He winces at the contact. "Da…Da…Chink?"

Re: Dinner at Nate's
Post by Marisol Morales on Jul 27, 2007, 12:23am

"Well, I know so little about you. Personally, I mean." He seems a bit uncomfortable, so I withdraw my leg, bring it down a few degrees. "Your interests, taste, preferences - I know you, but I don't really know you, do I?"

Re: Dinner at Nate's
Post by Sir Nathaniel/Fang on Jul 27, 2007, 12:34am

"True, but that goes both ways." He breathes both missing the contact, and letting his thoughts focus back on what she is saying. "My file says most of it. Sir Malmont was my mentor growing up. I was a little troublesome, but he tamed me. When the demon started appearing he was one of the few standing up for me. Though it took some time, and still the White King refuses to see me. I mostly travelled. Keeping the word of the Goddess alive within me. We did the work of the Order around the world. Keeping hope alive as much as a Knight can in this age. Though I can say my first time in Russia was a couple weeks back. Though all that probably is not what you wanted to hear."

Re: Dinner at Nate's
Post by Marisol Morales on Jul 27, 2007, 12:39am

"No, that's actually quite fascinating - you've led an interesting life, no question. Tell me, how does your current position compare?"

Re: Dinner at Nate's
Post by Sir Nathaniel/Fang on Jul 27, 2007, 12:46am

"As Templar of the Goddess I am required to go where ever I am needed without hesitation. So I am thankfull that it is rare. As for my duties as your deputy leader…I find myself all too often enjoying myself as I try to find ways to bring out the best in the team.

What about you?"

Re: Dinner at Nate's
Post by Marisol Morales on Jul 27, 2007, 12:49am

"I enjoy the company. Before this team, I mostly had teammates, not actual friends - Generation X changed that. It's nice to have actual friend with actual trust." It really is.

Re: Dinner at Nate's

"How far back do you, and Sara go?

Oh, and I suspose it is your turn again after this."

Post by Marisol Morales on Jul 27, 2007, 1:05am

"Not too far - we only met before the teams split up, if I recall. We started out at odds, but grew on each other after a while." Hurray for research. "And…turns?"

Re: Dinner at Nate's

"You asked two questions, and then I asked two questions. So it seem fair that it is your turn again."

"Oh, I see, quid pro quo. Very well." I pause a moment, thinking. "Tell me, Nathaniel, truly - this relationship we're developing, where do you see it ending up? Where would you like it to end up?"

« Heh…should…what kind of question is that? »

Re: Dinner at Nate's
Post by Marisol Morales on Jul 27, 2007, 1:36am

My, that kind of kills the mild buzz I was working up. "I'm honestly not sure if I'm even capable of having children - my body is hardly ideal for a growing child, though if they inherit my abilities, I suppose it's a moot point. Then again, my lineage is…questionable. I know I'm not human, but I'm not sure what pool Apocalypse dipped in to create me. And you're not exactly typical yourself - to answer your question, yes, protection would be prudent in the future, but I'm not even sure if there's any real danger. I'll look into it."

He takes hand, escorting her to the make shift dance floor, and then fiddles with the music player to find something more modern. Thus ending up with Jazz.

I follow him to the dance floor and pull in close as we dance; intertwining fingers, brushing against legs and chest, so close our breath meets and mingles.

"Things just come more naturally to me in combat. Dancing, and what happened in the shower feel a lot like that. The fight, and knowing when to surrender. It's still your turn." He smiles trying to flow with some kind of rythm.

"I could raise children anywhere I had to, but if you wanted to raise them peacefully then I would not question it. Might take a bit of easing in too, but I am sure we could manage. Could you see the same?" He nudged his head against hers trying to feel it against his.

Re: Dinner at Nate's
Post by Marisol Morales on Jul 27, 2007, 2:23am

"I…don't know, really. I'm not really a nurturing type - I'm afraid any children I have would just end up being neglected. I'd get tangled in my work without realizing it, pushing them to the wayside.

Re: Dinner at Nate's

"That's…you know, I've never seriously thought about it." The truest thing I've said tonight. "I have absolutely no idea where I want to go. I just…exist."

Re: Dinner at Nate's

Exist? From assassin to everything else in her life…

"Well perhaps it is time live." He dips her, and kisses her. Aiming for something long, but knowing her lungs like he does he will be coming up for air soon enough.

Re: Dinner at Nate's
Post by Marisol Morales on Jul 27, 2007, 2:49am

I let him hold it for a while, enjoying the experience and pulling away only when it's apparent I have to - leave him a little breathless, but I don't think he'll mind. "You kiss well…a girl would think you have experience."

Re: Dinner at Nate's

Re: Dinner at Nate's
Post by Marisol Morales on Jul 27, 2007, 3:11am

"Hm." His mention of the goddess…intrigues me. It's not part of my directive, but I suppose it couldn't hurt. "Nathaniel, I've never truly had religion in my life - it's not that I find it difficult to believe in gods and goddesses, I just never saw the point. However, if you would let me…I would like to adopt your way and worship the Goddess alongside you."

Re: Dinner at Nate's
Post by Sir Nathaniel/Fang on Jul 27, 2007, 3:15am

He backs off slightly. His eyes wide. A single tear runs down his cheek. Staring at her in wonder.

"Are you sure? You would be willing to go through the soul clensing?"

The two lovers had taken a nap after there activities, and Nathaniel slowly woke first. He layed there watching her till he saw her stir. His right index finger circled her bellow button as he let the fog of sleep slowly evaporate from her waking mind.

"Feel like journeying to London, or would you prefer a quite ceremony?"

Re: Dinner at Nate's

"A quiet ceremony would be best." And quicker. I want to do this, but I can't rush it.

"As you wish." He kissed her shoulder, and rolled off the bed. Grabbing his clothes, and tossing hers next to her. "It will take a short time to prepare everything. So rest a bit, and meet me in the Observatory shortly."

Observatory

Nathaniel had make short work of the bases supplies. He vaguely remember what the Lady of the Temple said in Montana when she performed it upon him. 'All the materials are at your fingertips. You are just now being enlighten to how they tie to the Goddess.'

He sat before the sapling of a tree that had sprouted over the time he had plant it. Probably faster then it would have, Thanks Lady Roxanne. All around him you could see the time he had spent aranging the dirt into symbols on the ground. Cutting lightly into the sapling he drew what little nector it could give willing, and put mixed it in the vaught just on the path. It had taken some time to figure out what the base had to offer in terms of herbs. The pantry did not have much variety, but he made some easy substitutes.

Finally he spoke the sacred words, and bless the mixture.

What is left? Cameras disabled, check. Door locks, ready. Guess that is everything…now just waiting on her.

Re: Dinner at Nate's

I walk in, dressed in my robe, ready to become fully 'skyclad' when the moment comes - I'm stunned on entry. I'm no stranger to rituals and magic and the like - within my own circles. But the setup Nathaniel has here, the trouble he obviously went through, has me baffled. No one has ever gone through this much trouble before.

I compose myself, turn to him. "I'm ready."

Re: Dinner at Nate's
Post by Sir Nathaniel/Fang on Jul 31, 2007, 12:20am

He nods, and fiddles with the keypad by the door, locking it. Walking back he places a couple of towels down on the walk way, and strips. Putting his clothes on one of the towels. Looking at her once more he simply smiles. "Please disrobe, and stand in the center of the circle."

Re: Dinner at Nate's
Post by Marisol Morales on Jul 31, 2007, 12:28am

"Right." I'm a bit hesitant - not for the nudity, of course; he's already seen me unclothed. Twice. But this is a bit farther than I planned - I'm stepping outside the mission parameters, and there will be consequences.

But I'll deal with them later. I disrobe and step in the circle.

Re: Dinner at Nate's

"The Goddess is responsible for all of creation. It is in this spirit that we join ourselves with her. Life is all around us. The air we breath, the ground we walk, and beyond." He brought the vaught to just outside the circle. He cupped some liquid, and carefully stepped to his spot.

"Repeat after me…I Izabella Matrioshka envoke my spirit in the name of the Goddess. Let her see me for all that I am, and embrace me so that I may know her in all things."

He waits calmly for her to repeat it. His eyes looking on in adornment.

Re: Dinner at Nate's
Post by Sir Nathaniel/Fang on Jul 31, 2007, 1:01am

He slowly moved his cupped hands over her hand, and released the fluid over her. It moved not like a normal fluid. More like a living blob around her only slow like a liquid. Slowly growing, and evelopeing every groove of her flesh. For but a brief moment breath seemed impossible. Nathaniel hands moved to specific spots on her as vision, and breath returned. Drawing symbols upon her flesh to complete the ritual. None showed but his brief etchings of touch somehow felt apart of her.

He looked over at the vaught which was now empty. Well at least I know I got something right. Then back at her,"How do you feel?"

[Sorry, I dozed off. Last night was particularly rough at work.]

I feel…different.

As Nathan touches me, drawing symbols upon my body, mark begin to flare up all over - the tattoos I'd kept hidden, the source of my powers, appear all over, leaving no inch of my body uncovered. For a moment, I appear like a walking, living painting - and then, just like that, the markings fade once more, burning away on my skin.

"I feel…amazing."
